Design And Implementation Of Information Management System For Hospital Outpatient

With the continuous improvement of scientific and technological level, in order to improve the work efficiency of medical staff in the hospital, make medical treatment better and more convenient for patients, and speed the improvement of medical service level, Hospital information construction the goal of various large and small hospitals have to pursue and it is also the goal which each hospital wants to strive to achieve. In recent years, the hospital information management system has been widely used and rapidly developed.The front end is a hospital outpatient information management system, PowerBuilder software is used for design combining with the database SQL Server 2008 database. It is mainly used in hospital outpatient services and used by hospital medical staff and hospital managers. It is a software which provides services for outpatient, the hospital outpatient services including the operation and management personal record establishment, patient card establishment, clinic registration, clinic charge and so on.Firstly,the development and status quo of the hospital information in and abroad home are investigated and analyzed. The existing problems and deficiencies of hospital information system at the present stage in our country are pointed, also, methods and suggestions are given to solve the problems, and the research content of the thesis is established. The softwares of Powerbuilder and SQL Server are introduced in detail, and according to the years of first-line work experience combined with the actual situation of the hospital, Powerbuilder is chosen as development software and Server SQL 2008 database is chosen as a development tool.Secondly, the characteristics of hospital outpatient information management system is analyzed, functional analysis and structure analysis are done for the system requirement,and the overall design of the hospital outpatient management information system are carried on in detail. Combining with the concept of database structure design and logical structure design, the database design is implemented. On this basis, the function module of card establishment, clinic charge subsystem, pharmacy subsystem and data statisticssubsystem are also implemented. The whole hospital outpatient service business processes of card establishment-clinic registration charge-physician consultation-taking medicine,checking, testing-payment-engagement completion can be done by users by doing operations. The statistical functions can also be more careful for the statistics and query of the hospital outpatient data, this is convenient for managers to check the data, making decisions for other related work. In actual use of the system, each function of the system can be more convenient and efficient for the usage of the hospital administrators. The outpatient service process and the efficiency of the outpatient treatment of patients are greatly improved.Finally, the systematic debugging and testing of the system is done to improve the quality of the program and avoid problems and inconvenience in the practical application for users.
