The first lady of various countries become active in national stage. Not only because the first la dy are the existence of a ceremonial, but also because they represent the image and the soft power of the country. They visit with the head of state, participate in foreign affairs and activities, pay attentio n to the rights of women and children, devote in charity work and promote the cultural exchanges bet ween the countries.First lady has always been high-profile foreign public figures internationally. They are not onl y good partner of the state leaders, but also the national excellent women representatives. Their spee ch and deportment, garment wearing, expression details become the objects which flash bulb catc h. Western countries established a special auxiliary. The first lady to attend all kinds of social activiti es in the various affairs office. After the founding of China, the first lady has a little attention amon g media and has a little effect and status due to It’s high politics of seriousness and influenced by tra ditional culture. International and domestic media give high comments on the "first lady" in China Si nce March 2013 Peng Liyuan has travelled with Xi Jinping The perspective of media attention an d the construction of "first lady" media image have a important link. The first lady media image ren dering closely connected with national external communication, government relations.This paper combs the history of the "first lady" system at home and abroad, explores how th e domestic media construction for China’s "first lady" image with People’s Daily and Sina’s report s of "first lady" Peng Liyuan as research samples, through content analysis, the method of literatur e analysis and case analysis. Through the research of " first lady" construct comprehensive media i mage, On the one hand, insight into the first lady Peng Liyuan’s fashionable and elegant female ima ge and wonderful Oriental female image, Goods exporter and the face image and Charitable publi c welfare ambassador image, in the other hand, analysis the Prominent effect of Peng Liyuan’s Communication ambassador " charity ambassador" these positive images in External communication an d government relations of the state, and so on. This article is divided into five parts. The introductio n part introduces the writing origin, research status at home and abroad, the key concepts and theorie s, research value and significance. The second chapter, "first lady" with the media image building, m ainly elaborated "first lady" cause of name with the history change of China’s "first lady" and medi a image construction. The third chapter for the People’s Daily and Sina reported about the image of t he "first lady" Peng Liyuan image construction. The fourth chapter is the enlightenment of Peng Liy uan first lady media construction; Finally for the epilogue part. Through the details of these five p arts, know about the important role of "first lady" image construction in foreign communication an d government relations.
