At present, the application of Cartesian robots are widely used in various fields,however, the traditional design method is difficult to meet the business of efficient production, so more and more enterprises will be design three-dimensional software for secondary development according to their own requirements and characteristics, to build for the actual business system to improve design efficiency, and enhance the competitiveness of enterprises.The paper researched and development Cartesian robot rapid design system based on the enterprise design method for Cartesian robot. Based on Solid Works as a platform,take advantage of Top-Down approach of Cartesian robots for structural design, the use of object-oriented programming language VB development tools for Cartesian robots designed and optimized to develop a Solid Works-based design system.The main research contents:(1) Based on Solid Works software secondary development methods and research.(2) The research of Cartesian robots structure and motion.(3) Take advantage of Top-down approach of Cartesian robots for structural design, the Cartesian robot unit mounted parameterization.(4) Using VB development tools needed to build and design interface parameterization interface, achieve rapid and parameterization purposes.(5) Solid modeling parts to complete the assembly of the Cartesian robot and checking and simulation analysis of the reasonableness to make sure the model validation.Using this system can quickly complete parametric design of Cartesian robot, and design interactive interface to realize rapid and visual purposes.
