| Nowadays, the huge amount of requirements of vehicles from society is a great opportunity to transportation industry for deeper developing. However, most of the transportation enterprises are facing competitive market challenge. The way of traditional management is no longer efficient and it is getting worse and worse as time goes by. This thesis will do research on how to improve and standardize various business flows, how to increase the efficiency of vehicle scheduling, how to effectively control the operating costs, and how to enhance overall service and management skills via the usage of information technology. This thesis will be based on the real business flow and practical problems of the transportation enterprise, it will be an important guide for this industry.First of all, this thesis will give a brief introduction of the current situation and the outstanding problems of transportation enterprises. And it will breakdown the system user roles into several ones, such as company leader, driver team captain, drivers, dispatcher, customer and system administrator. The thesis will contain a UML use case diagram, which analyses and describes the main business requirements, and demonstrate the system user interface and performance profile.This thesis will contain the design and implement details of the user online booking vehicles system based on the business requirements. The system consists of following main features:1) Pure HTML5 web page design base on Browser/Server, so that it supports multipleplatforms, and user can access it via various ways, for example: PC, mobile phones, pad orother smart terminal, and so on.2) Task List Scheduling Process, based on the real-time location of vehicles and the vehicles required location, the system will automatically recommend the most suitable vehicle drivers once the dispatcher clicks the confirm button; the functionality of manual assigned vehicle driver is supported as well.3) Vehicle Operating Cost Management Process, it standardizes the maintenance management and gas management, which includes the fixed point maintenance(gas) and out of fixed maintenance(gas), and so on.This system will include basic management, the monitoring center, schedule management, cost management, statistical analysis, system management and mobile ordering app. It will be built based on C# language,.NET framework, SqlServer2008 database technology and multi-layer architecture development technology.Last but not least, the thesis will cover all the tests for each function module, it will introduce the testing methods with some typical test cases. We also run automation test for the system user interface and performance, and the result shows that the system has met the basic requirement and reached the expected goal. Currently, the system has been successfully applied to some transportation enterprises and working pretty well, it has already obtained some great economic and social benefit. |
