Recently, with the application gradually perfect of the microstrip line structure, people pay more attention to coplanar waveguide structure in order to seek the new progress of antenna. The research of planar antenna with coplanar waveguide is of great significance. Coplanar waveguide, as a kind of planar transmission line structure, not only has the structure of the microstrip line profile, the advantages of low cost and easy conformal, also has its own low dispersion, easy integration and the advantages of the low transmission loss.Coplanar waveguide structure and its performance have been introduced in this thesis. We expound the basic theory of antenna, including the basic concept of the main performance index of antenna and filter. The paper is not only involved the problems in the current implement multiband microstrip antennas, also introduces the coplanar waveguide structure of new applications.First, the design of a coplanar waveguide dual-band antenna, effectively realized the miniaturization and complanation of antenna, can work in the 2.32 GHz to 2.57 GHz and 5.2 GHz ~ 5.8 GHz frequency band at the same time. Then we use coplanar waveguide technology to improve the characteristics of narrow frequency band and large volume in the traditional microstrip antenna. The planar ultra wideband(UWB) antenna is with a band-notched characteristic for the interference between the UWB applications and wireless local area networks(WLAN). But it is not used in the frequency 5.1GHz ~ 5.9 GHz by inserting a thin slot on the radiation element. Furtherly we design an E-type antenna, the main parameters affecting the performance of antenna is studied, the change curve has been given. The antenna can work simultaneously at 1.8 GHz and 2.6 GHz and 5 GHz frequency, of which 1.8 GHz and 2.6 GHz frequency band have certain practical value in the rise of the 4G network telecommunication lines system. Finally, starting from the basic theory of coupling microstrip line, expounds a kind of method for the design of microstrip bandpass filter by ADS software, and designed a desired microstrip bandpass filter.
