With the vigorous development of China’s securities industry, more and more people invest a lot of money in the securities industry, resulting in the reliability of the securities industry network equipment is very important, even if only a few minutes of network outages may cause tens of thousands of financial losses. So building a high availability network is the willingness of investors, securities companies and trust companies.In this context, the high availability of routing and switching are designed to improve the convergence time of network devices in the securities industry. At first, this paper introduces the source and significance of the subject and the development status at home and abroad.And then take the high availability of routing and switching in investment management system network as a prototype for requirements analysis and outline design.Secondly, the high availability of routing and switching are designed in detail. Double point bidirectional routing redistribution is design between two routers simultaneously redistributed, through route mapping table, route tag, distribution list, access control list and routing summary to achieve double point bidirectional routing redistribution. Non equal overhead load balancing is designed to calculate the value of the measurement by five variables of bandwidth, delay, load, reliability and maximum transmission unit. The most preferred way to find an optimal route according to the size of the measure. By changing the balance factor to specify a redundant path for non equal overhead load balancing, the BFD protocol is designed to improve the convergence time of high availability network. Link aggregation design uses port aggregation protocol to create link aggregation, which is bound to a logical link, and the link redundancy, bandwidth and load sharing are realized. Spanning tree redundancy design using multiple spanning tree protocol to improve the network convergence time, according to the bridge protocol data specified role of port and the port state to realize multipath forwarding and load balancing. Gateway redundancy design using virtual router processing data frames sent to the default gateway to achieve the gateway redundancy. To improve the convergence time of the network by using the millisecond HELLO interval.After the detailed design of the system, the modules of the system are realized. At last, the function and performance of the system are tested, and the corresponding test and evaluation are made. Finally, the conclusion is drawn.
