The Design And Implementation Of Salary System For A Insurance Group

Payroll management is now playing a very important role in today’s business management.Enterprises can largely improve work efficiency by using information technology to implement the payroll management.This paper focuses on the design and development of payroll management of a large state-owned insurance group, which is a subproject of the Neusoft Group ongoing project“Personnel Management System of a large state-owned insurance group”. There are nearly 5,000 branches and over 300,000 employees nationwide in this leading insurance group. Thus, payroll management is tightly associated with staff’s daily work. The original salary system was designed to be too simple in salary information inquiry and too complex in process of salary management,which also caused the overload of the database. With the development of the group, a new salary system is required to deal with the new demands of the enterprise.This paper explains the direction and background of the payroll management system of the large insurance group; system functional requirements and non-functional requirements; relevant technology of the system development and specific design of the system architecture; system implementation, summary and expectation. Meanwhile, the design ideas of the general structure and every module of the salary system are introduced in detail. This system has the following features:1) This payroll management system is structured by MVC design mode, which is designed by hierarchical thinking, to reduce the dependence between layer and layer and to strengthen the flexibility and extensibility of the system.2) Activiti workflow engine technology is introduced in the salary system in order to not only simplify the complexity of the logic design of the approval process, but also improve the efficiency of system and the reusability of the program.3) The salary system uses redis database caching technology to optimize the database storage in case of the potential overload problems while a large number of salary data is written to thedatabase during the wage settlement period of the company. What is more, performance of the database storage and the stability of the system will be improved by means of using memory caching data to reduce the pressure of the database storage.4)This payroll management system use responsive Web design framework Bootstrap for the responsive layout design on the front page.The whole system is designed to be secure, flexible, convenient and easy operating with a friendly interface. Combining with the actual situation of the large insurance group, it perfectly completes the process of the payroll management of a large salary insurance group management.
