Quantum information is the highly technical combination of quantum mechanics and modern information technology having far-reaching research significance. As an important branch of quantum information, quantum computing which possesses characteristics of great-efficiency and high-speed will lead the transition from classical computer to quantum computer at last. Quantum image processing is an emerging interdisciplinary field integrated quantum information and classical image processing, which aims at making full use of the superiorities of quantum information into each stage of image processing.The purpose of this paper is to use of basic theory of quantum information, quantum parallel, overlapping, features with quantum entanglement loading scheme, quantum logic gates, quantum algorithms such as image representation, information processing method to fully mix, to complete the quantum of mathematical morphology image processing of a series of operations.The main research work is as follows:(1) A novel watershed image segmentation algorithm based on quantum inspired morphologyWith the aim to effectively solve the problem of over-segmentation produced by traditional watershed algorithm, a novel image segmentation algorithm based on quantum inspired morphology is proposed in this paper. Firstly, the superposed structuring element is used to construct the adaptive morphological gradient operator and obtain the gradient image through this operator. Then, the reconstruction technique of quantum inspired morphology is used to filter the gradient image. The local extremum caused by the gray-scale interference and noise can be eliminated by this way. Finally, marker extraction technique is carried out to segment image and the ultimate image will be achieved through watershed algorithm. The problem of over-segmentation can be effectively resolved is by using this algorithm while the main region of the complex texture images can be obtained without any loss.(2) Quantum Image Morphology Processing Based on Quantum Set OperationSet operation is the essential operation of mathematical morphology, but it is difficult to complete the set operation quickly on the electronic computer. In this paper, by adopting the method of the combination of quantum computation and image processing, though multiple quantum logical gates and combining the quantum image storage, quantum loading scheme and Boyer search algorithm, a novel quantum image processing method is proposed, which is the morphological image processing based on quantum set operation. The basic operations, such as erosion and dilation, are carried out for the images by using the quantum erosion algorithm and quantum dilation algorithm. The runtime of our quantum algorithm is ?? M N?. As a result, this method can produce better results.(3) Quantum Gray-scale Image Dilation/Erosion Algorithm Based on Quantum Loading SchemeIn realizing the quantum binary image expansion and corrosion after operation, this paper is based on a newly proposed quantum loading scheme, quantum reversible add and subtract multiplier and reversible comparator implements quantum algorithm for calculating grayscale image expansion and corrosion.The algorithm combines the optimal circuit design and the best loading plan, in order to obtain the optimal algorithm, the research has the very high reference value for the future.
