| In recent years, users have demand more on quality of service and security like routers and other access devices as the rapid development of communication technology and expanding networks. Due to a large number of copper resources previously deployed, xDSL broadband access equipment still has a large market demand.This thesis designed a high-speed G.SHDSL access router which supports ACL, QoS, and other functions and protects the safety of the system and provides differentiated quality of service as the G.SHDSL has advantages of high transmission rate, long transmission distance and better compatibility in technology xDSL. It can be widely used in household and SME users.Considering the property, cost and users’ demand and other factors, the hardware circuit design use a communication microprocessor chip MPC8308, and Ethernet switch Chip AR8328 N and G.SHDSL Chip CX98124, and select the software operating environment based on Linux operating system.The router is able to forward specific ports and specific types of packets to ensure system security, classify and control flow rate, and provide differentiated quality of service, moreover it also sets the routing and modem functions into one, which supporting 1-way, 2-way and 4-way tied together, the access speeds of a single pair of parallel lines can reach 5.7 Mbps,and it may reach 22.8Mbps through binding technology by four rate.This thesis thoroughly describes the features and advantages of each chip to expound the reasons for selection; It focuses on explaining the portable achievement of G.SHDSL driver on MPC8308 platform, and analyzes the function modules in-depth and makes the specific method like system main program architecture, ACL and Qo S; Finally, the the thesis tests the main functions and performance of the router, and analyzes the test results.In the test session, the thesis lays emphasis on testing the router of the functions likes G.SHDSL, ACL and QoS and performance as connection distance and the packet loss rate test with a test environment the network tester set up. The test results show that function and performance of the router meet the requirements. |
