| Recently, CMOS image sensor, with its high integration, strong anti-jamming capability and low power consumption, has applied to all kinds of fields widely. With the rapid development of space technology, various aerospace equipments such as satellite platform, and star sensor all need CMOS image sensor for transmission of image data. However, there are many different kinds of particles in the space environment, and it is very complicated. When this particles incident to the semiconductor, there must be some damages to the semiconductor device. This paper mainly studied the Single Event Effect of CMOS image sensor that the particles of higher energy incidenting to the semiconductor devices resulted in. The Single Event Effect of CMOS image sensor can make a bad image or an inaccuracy in localization of facular. So more and more people do some researches about Single Event Effect of CMOS image sensor since the early of 21 st century. At present, no one has done the experiment in Single Event Effect of CMOS image sensor by using californium source, and no experimental data, such as the average output dark grey value of SEE, the changed numbers of SEE and the cross section of SEE.To solve above problems, this paper mainly completed the following work:The progress in SEE of CMOS image sensor was summarized, and proposed the necessity of experiment in SEE of CMOS image sensor.Based in the theory of SEE and the working principle of photoelectric diode and MOSFET, the theoretical model such as photoelectric diode of SEE and MOSFET of SEE were established, and the pix model of SEE was also established.The twinkled of SEE, the nearly saturation of SEE and the saturation of SEE were proposed in this paper, and the related data was got, these will provide a certain theoretical and experimental basis for the application of CMOS image sensor.Based in the experimental results about CMOS image sensor of SEE, and the characteristics of californium source 252 Cf, the effect on different particles for CMOS image sensor of SEE and the effect on district for CMOS image sensor of SEE was analysised.This paper has done the experiment about CMOS image sensor in SEE firstly, and has got the experimental results. The theoretical model has established and it will provide the foundation of the experimental and theoretical research. |
