Poyang Lake And Economy Of Jiangxi In History

Poyang Lake, as mother lake of Jiangxi, which feed millions of people since thedawn of time, made significant contributions to formation of regional culture anddevelopment of economy. Thus, numerous scholars studied this china’s biggestfreshwater lake as the object. However, they set about the perspective from geography,economics and ecology. Based on the above study and applying lots of materials, thistext made a comprehensive research on the flexible changes ad relations witheconomic growth of Jiangxi, hoping to offer a new research view.Aiming at weak link of researches on Poyang Lake, this article emphasized tostudy content as follows:Chapter one is about Poyang Lake and economy of Jiangxi during Qin and Handynasty and Six Dynasties. Poyang Lake experienced evolutions of growing out ofnothing while economy of Jiangxi underwent rise and decline. This chapter discussedthe evolving process of Poyang Lake from Qin and Han dynasty and Six Dynasties.Meanwhile, this chapter studied Jiangxi economic development during this period.Chapter two is about Poyang Lake and economy of Jiangxi during the Tang andSong Dynasties. It mainly studied state of development during this period andeconomy of Jiangxi.Chapter three is about Poyang Lake and economy of Jiangxi during the Ming andQing Dynasties. It mainly studied the evolution conditions and economy of Jiangxiduring this period.Chapter four mainly discussed the relations between the flexible Poyang Lakeand economy of Jiangxi. Although the development of lake was its spontaneouschange, it closely connected with economy of Jiangxi. On this account this chapterprobed into the future development direction on ecological economic zone of PoyangLake and made some developmental suggestions.
