Performance Index Reconfiguration Of Equity-based Incentive Project For The Chinese Software Listed Companies

The equity-based incentive project is a combination of incentive and restriction, and the effective performance index is the base of that project. The famous projects which were released recently only have2or3the same or similar financial indexes in common. As a result, these projects are being argued widely. According to the experience abroad, advanced technology enterprises are the most important involved aspects which promote the project. So, this paper focuses on the Chinese software listed companies to build and adjust the performance index of equity-based incentive project. And it’s considered that the reconfiguration in this paper may lead to the effective practice of the project.This paper based on the theory of trust, theory of man power capital and theory of effective market. And it summarizes the induction analysis, canonical analysis and so on to research the systematic problems of the incentive index unicity and the lack of adaptability to any special industry. At first, this paper summarizes the achievement and conceptions of the researches both domestic and abroad. According to the domestic laws related to the equity-based incentive, the adopting situation of the incentive project in Chinese listed companies has been analyzed then, and the reasons of the problems above have also been discussed. As the configuration doesn’t concern the industry characters mostly, the data of Chinese listed software companies has been collected and11software industry characters have been generalized for the evidence to the reconfiguration of performance index. At last, the reconfiguration of both financial and non-financial aspects has been made for the listed software companies.This research is made to fill-up the blank that no performance index of equity-based incentive project faces to any special industry. And this paper is expected to be a bit of reference of further research in this aspect. As the shortcoming of this paper, the data collection had to face to a big problem that released data of listed software companies is not in plenty. The index of reconfiguration has not adopted into practice too. So, it needs to be researched further more.
