The Social Identity Of The Problem Of Domestic Workers

With the development of social economy，people who on the home service demandpresents the tendency of socialization. From the last century90’s，domestic service industry hasbegan to rise，meet the needs of people life quality from the material and spiritual aspectscontinuously，at the same time as the third service industry in the new economic point ofgrowth，to play a positive role in improving people’s livelihood，adjusting the industrialstructure，expanding employment etc..The healthy development of domestic service industry，cannot do without high quality employees，and is currently engaged in domestic servicepersonnel of low quality，unstable has posed a majorobstacle for healthy development ofdomestic industry.Influenced by the traditional culture and the modern service industrydevelopment lag，housekeeping waiter "inferior" social status that it can not realize the personaland social identity. This study uses questionnaire survey，in-depth interviewdata collectionmethod，a large number of relevant literatures，using a combination of quantitative andqualitative data analysis methods，in order to Changchun City YJ domestic companies，domesticcompanies such as HY housekeeping service personnel as the research object，were collectedfromdomestic service staff of300people，the recovery of262valid samples，the effective rate ofrecovery is87%，the measurement of the social identity status of domestic service personnelincluding identity，four aspects of system identification，economic identity and cultural identity.Based on social identity theory as the basis，combined with the Changchun city homemakingcompany survey data，the survey to the reality of domestic service personnel socialidentity fromthe perspective of sociology，the social identity research，analysis of identity dilemma ofdomestic service personnel in the society，and improve，from housekeeping waiter quality oftheir own domestic company system perfect，the society to guide and policy support for thesisput forward corresponding countermeasures. Domestic service personnel social identity isconstructed successfully for domestic service personnel into the social life，improve thedomestic service personnel’s social status，promote the healthy operation and development offamily services and maintaining social harmonyhas important function and meaning.
