After the Third Plenary Session of the11th Central Committee of the CommunistParty of China (CCP), China has gradually established Household contractresponsibility system, The land contracted to households, farmers have a fullautonomy in terms of production and operations. In the market competition, in orderto achieve maximum benefit, on the one hand,they have to give full play to theiroperating ability to raise revenue;on the other hand,should make their land reached acertain scale,generate economies of scale of production. This has prompted farmerswho have the material and financial resources, In the conditions of a large number ofrural labor transfer to the city, concentrated land through various forms of landtransfer, formed a new agriculture organizational forms that the family farm.Family farm is a agricultural economic entity of self management, selffinancing.it’s land area used for agricultural production reaches a certain scale,it’sIntensification of agricultural production up to a certain standard. Family is the unit offalimy farm,and it is market-oriented, with commodity production as the goal.Ourtheoretical research on the family farm began in the1980s. Central Document enactedin2013proposed to innovate agricultural production,encourage development offamily farms,strongly promote the growth and development of familyfarms.Development of family farms adapts to requirement of modern market-orientedagricultural development,may provide breach of solving rural issues. This indicatesthat research on the family farm has great practical significance.This paper used the results of many domestic scholars on family farms astheoretical basis,based on the study of Zhucheng family farms, formed the basic ideaof promoting growth and development of family farms.Zhucheng is the birthplace ofChina’s agricultural industrialization, has a good agricultural foundation,developsfamily farm early, development is better than other regions, therefore, the study ofZhucheng family farms has typical significance.This paper is divided into six chapters.Chapter one introduction section included background and research ideas andinnovations,mainly introduces family farms’ definition, founded conditions anddevelopment process, follow the research idea that from the particular to the general, from concrete to abstract, select Shandong Zhucheng family farm for thesurvey,analyses Zhucheng family farms’ typical patterns, development problems,inorder to form general conclusions of promoting the growth and development of familyfarms.Chapter two investigates and researches development of family farms inZhucheng.Included development origin,development status, development stage,etc.Analyses the reason that Zhucheng family farm constructed.Describes thedevelopment status of family farms,proposed typical family farms which are moresuccessful currently, preliminary locates the development stage of family farms.Chapter three classifies family farm development types in China and sums uptypical pattern of development of Zhucheng family farm. Conpared and analyzeddevelopment model of family farms in Zhucheng and other areas. cleared the typicalcharacteristics of Zhucheng family farms and nurturing path selection.Chapter four points out that common problems of the family farms in Zhuchengand whole country.The existed main problems of Zhucheng family farms are lack ofrelevant laws, land transfer mechanism is imperfect, inadequate investment,inadequate social services in rural areas,etc.Development of family farms in Chinaexists except above-mentioned problems, the heavier of the burden of operating andthe deterioration of the external environment, agricultural futures and insurancemarket imperfections, the high cost of land contract, low physical capital stock offamily farms,the development of rural financial credit markets lag are the commonproblems.Chapter five provides path on promoting growth and development of familyfarms according to above questions.
