The Study On The Need For Financial Services And Financial Strategies In The Urbanization Process Of The Northern Guangdong

Due to history location and policy, the region urbanization process in Guangdongprovince is obvious different. At the end of2012, the pearl river delta region’s urbanizationrate is83.84percentage, the eastern region、 western region、 mountainous region’surbanization rate is respectively59.05percentage、39.72percentage and45.3percentage.Accelerating the development of the eastern、western and the northern region by improvingthe urbanization is the important development strategy of the Guangdong people’sgovernment in the future. Finance is the core of economy, accelerating the urbanizationprocess of low developed area in Guangdong province needs the financial service. It can helpto clarify the concepts of finance supporting urbanization by Analyzing the microeconomicmain body’ financial service demands during the urbanization acceleration stage anddiscussing the problem and reasons.And it can also provide a reference for making policybased on the perspective of finance.The article includes six chapters. The first chapter is introduction, mainly introduced theresearch background、the importance of the topic、literature review and comment. Thesecond chapter describes the urbanization situation and the finance development situation inthe northern region of Guangdong province. Author analyzes the urbanization situation by thehorizontal comparison and vertical comparison method,shows the stimulus of drivingurbanization,and introduces the financial organization system、financial scale、financialservice productions.The third chapter mainly analyzes the main channels and analyzes thefinancial service demands of the government、the enterprise、the farmers during theurbanization process. The forth chapter comprehensively analyzes the situation、 theproblems and the constraints about financial service in the process of urbanization. The fifthchapter makes some suggestions how to support urbanization by finance.The main conclusions are: the level of urbanization in the northern area is lower; themain driving forces of urbanization are the industrial transfer、agriculture industrializationand the administrative guidance. The microeconomic bodies such as government、enterprise、farmers have various financial service demands. The insufficiency of financing urbanizationresult from the financial intuitions pursing the profit、lack of incentives、imperfection risk transfer and diversifications. Increasing the financial scale and improving the financialefficiency can help to promote urbanization rate significantly.
