The Analysis Of The Relationship Between Industrial Structure And Urbanization About Jiuquan City Based On VAR Model

As required by the rapid development of regional economy, urbanization andindustrial optimization and upgrading has become a hot issue in academic research.Related theory has proved to have inner relation between the city development andindustrial structure. The development of the city provides a good market to the secondand third industry and promotes the optimization and upgrading of industrial structure.The optimization and upgrading can also promotes the development the urbanizationlevel. Since the reform and opening, the urbanization level of Jiuquan city improvedcontinuously, industrial structure have optimized continuously too. There exist someproblems in Jiuquan, The main performance is the poor quality of urbanization, thedegree of agglomeration is not high, industrial process relative lags, low levels ofindustrial structure. Therefore, study the internal relationship between thedevelopment of Jiuquan city and the industrial structure can provide the advice to thehealthy development of Jiuquan City.This paper uses the methods of qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis. Onthe basis of lots of literature and theories, Combining with the development situationand problem between urbanization and industrial structure in Jiuquan City, using theempirical model and select corresponding data from1990to2011, to make empiricalanalysis and research about urbanization and industrial in Jiuquan Province. In theend, make relevant policy according to the previous conclusion. The results show that:①The urbanization level of Jiuquan city have increased from26.77%in1990to35.37%in2011.Higher than the average level of Gansu, With the development ofurbanization, the industrial structure of Jiuquan city are also constantly upgrading.The urbanization and three industrial structures in Jiuquan have obvious correlation.②Urbanization level and the first industry output value proportion, the primaryindustry employment population and the second industry output value proportion haveexisted one-way granger reason. The urbanization level，the second industry andthird industry output value proportion and employment proportion of tertiary industryhave existed a two-way granger reason.③The urbanization level has a negativeimpact on the first industry output value proportion, the first industry employment proportion and the second industry employment proportion. There also exists apositive impact among the urbanization level and the second proportion of outputvalue, the third proportion of output value, the third industry employment proportion.④The variance contribution rate between the urbanization level and the threeindustries in the tenth period have increased to the maximum, exists a higher degreeof interpretation. Indicates that the improvement of level about urbanization is themain factor causing the evolution of industrial structure, the development of thesecond industry and the third industry is also promoting the main power of theurbanization level.
