Research On The Agricultural Industry Upgrading In Jilin Province Based On The Product Space Structure Evolution

Jilin Province as an important agricultural production base in China, agricultural industryupgrading has played a decisive role to economic and social development of Jilinprovince.The unique geographical conditions and the Changbai Mountain rich resources,Jilin province has be richly endowed by nature of the geographical and industrial base in theagricultural industry. With years of the agricultural modernization, the comprehensive grainproduction capacity of Jilin province has continuously improved, animal husbandry,agricultural product processing industry as well as in edible fungi as a representative of theforest industry development scale unceasingly expands. However, because the governmentfailed to timely, reasonablely adjust the industrial structure and upgrading, and the backwardagricultural infrastructure, small production scale, and the low industry concentration, thelow-end of Jilin province agriculture industry development is gradually being locked in the"smile curve" value chain, the low value-added products that our province agriculturalproducts gradually lost its competitive advantage.Therefore, in order to upgrade industries as the focal point, research on the evolution ofthe product space structure, find a line with its own law of development of agriculturalindustrial transformation and the path of development, have very important meaning forrealizing agricultural economic strong province goal of Jilin province. In this paper, wecombine the product space structure evolution theory with the development status ofagricultural industry in Jilin province, construct the empirical model in the agriculturalindustry in Jilin Province, carry on the effective analysis of agricultural industry in JilinProvince with measurement from the product space structure and empirical analysis. And weuse the small world network model theory, to explore the feasibility path of Jilin Provinceagricultural product space structure evolution, provides policy recommendations for theadvantageous industries cultivation in Jilin province and the future agricultural industrystructural adjustment and industrial upgrading path.
