In modern service industry become a new focus of the world economic developmentand international competition at the same time, also has become the important engine ofeconomic growth in China. Under the background of service industry’s external opening,to promote the service internal structure change, has became the important key point topromote the development of service industry. However, at present for China servicesectors and service industry internal structure of rare specialized research. Based on this,this study to reveal the internal structure of service industry opening to the outside changeeffect, the purpose is to explore how to better use of service industry opening to the outsideworld, to promote the adjustment of internal structure of service industry, to achieve thebetter development of China’s service industry.This paper systematically reviews and absorbs about the theory of open economy,service industry structure theory, the dynamic comparative advantage theory, serviceindustry development. In the perspective of foreign trade and service industry FDI inservices, based on the theory of comparative advantage theory, build the researchframework. On the basis of theoretical analysis, through the establishment of empiricalmodel, and ues the relevant data from1990to2011, using co-integration test and grangercausality test, we validate the influence of service industry’s external opening on the fouraspects (distribution services, producer services, consumer services and social services) ofservice industry.The main results of this thesis are as follows:First, in theory, under the condition of open economy, service industry’s externalopening through the effects of physical capital, human capital effect, technology effect andother effects to promote the service industry structure change.Secondly China’s service industry internal structure in the process of changing;Service industry opening to the outside world degree continuously strengthen, but thecomparative advantage is still concentrated in the traditional labor-intensive and naturalresource-intensive industries, added value is low; Service industries using foreigninvestment scale expands unceasingly, but the investment structure is unreasonable.Thirdly, generally speaking, China’s service industry opening to the outside world haspromoted to the service industry internal structure change, mainly in order to promote theproducer services and consumer service sector. This is the nature of the internal industry and service industry, service industry exists monopoly phenomenon, service industry FDIopen profit-driven and partly due to the characteristics of vertical differences.
