Different Beijing Lianhua supermarket chains face different internal and external environment, namely factors that affect supermarket chains field and store management capacity are various, therefore enterprises choose a different management strategy. However, factors that affect store field and store management capacity are of university as well. With respect to different supermarket chains field characteristics, this study explores the differences on the management capacity and strategy. Thence, this study analyzes various factors that affect supermarket chains field and store management capabilities, and the impact on management capabilities.In this study, factors are divided into three parts:the asset resource factors (including company size, security facilities, shop),operation resource factors (including operations management,marketing management, procurement management, financial management, human resources management, information management), as well as the operation and management strategic factors (including low-cost leadership strategy, differentiation strategy, centralized strategy). What we conclude from empirical studies is that cost leadership strategy contains seven variables, which are expanding membership system, promotion policy, a membership card system, enlarging varieties of goods, the festive promotional merchandise, shelves expenses, implementation of supply chain management; differentiation strategy consists of five variables, the services of different levels of customers, additional facilities, efficiently opening new stores, marketing channels diversification, participation in community welfare activities; centralized strategy consists of four variables, changing one’s own products, adding customerized new products, cross-industry cooperation with foreign well-known brand.This study believes that upgrade supermarket chains management depends on following aspects:First, we must make choice of the supermarket chains’location (including the location point’s potential assessment, market positioning, the main consideration of location, the shop plans);Second, commodity management (including product variety management, commodities display management); Third, pricing management; Fourth, ordering and inventory management (including order management, inventory management); Fifth, exception management and loss management; Sixth, other detail managements.To enhance the operation and management of Lianhua Supermarket, the following recommendations are resonable:First, strengthen the management of the store field (especially for the exhibition shop mode, procurement capacity, inventory management, quality management, human resource management);Second, the re-design and standardization (especially store design, promotional activities, free brand development capabilities, customer relationship management, service quality).
