The Study Of Affecting Factors On Demand Of Rubber Tree Typhoon Disaster Isurance

In2007, Wanning and Qiongzhong County became the pilots of rubber tree typhoon disaster insurance. In2009, Hainan Natural Rubber Industry Group Co.Ltd.(hereinafter referred to as HNRGBIC) spent48million yuan on the rubber tree insurance from the Chinese People’s Insurance Company Hainan branch (hereinafter referred to as PICC) for the first time. In2010, HNRBIC try to let tappers participate in the insurance premium voluntarily.Lack of effective demand has been a serious impediment to the development of China agricultural insurance, the problem exists in rubber tree typhoon disaster insurance too. Therefore it is very necessary to research on which factor are affecting the tappers’ demand of rubber tree typhoon disaster insurance.This paper studies on the factors, which influence tappers’ demand of rubber tree typhoon disaster insurance.The author tries to find out a kind of rubber tree typhoon disaster insurance pattern,which suitable the Hainan state farms present situation.As follows,six parts compose the thesis.The first chapter introduced the background and significance of topics, research trends, reseach contents,research methods and technology roadmap,and the possible innovation and so on;The second chapter discussed the relative theories,including the definition of agricultural insurance and rubber tree typhoon disaster insurance,hypothesis of rational man, quasi-public goods character of rubber tree typhoon disaster insurance,information asymmetry,moral risk and adverse selection;The third chapter showed the development historical of rubber tree typhoon disaster insurance in Hainan province.The forth chapter according to the questionnaire, expounded tappers’ cognition about rubber tree typhoon disaster insurance and their purchase wish by descriptive statistics;The fifth chapter present an explanative and empirical analysis,using logit model,of the factors that influence tappers’ purchase wish of rubber tree typhoon disaster insurance;The sixth chapter gave conclusions on the basis of research and theory in the light of the actual situation,standardized analysis and empirical analysis.Finally,the paper made policy recommendations.
