Study On The Efficiency Evaluation Of Regional Economy In Henan Province-An Empirical Analysis Based On Dea Model

In recent years, especially since the national strategy of implementation in central China, the socioeconomic of Henan developed swiftly and violently, went into a new stage of rapid progress in industrialization and urbanization. However, Henan’s economic development is also facing a series of problems such as resource consumption, agricultural overpopulation, large scale of investment, the income level of residents is low etc.Among all the cities, the problem of imbalance between economic development and the average efficiency not high is more serious, so study the efficiency of economic development around the city differences, identify constraints affecting the efficiency, we can improve the quality of economic development around the city, promote sound and rapid economic development.This paper analyzes the current situation related research at home and abroad, mainly in three areas:regional economic development in the fairness and efficiency, regional factors influencing the efficiency, DEA in the area of economic efficiency evaluation. Then reviews the development of the concept of economic efficiency, this paper defines the concept of regional economic efficiency, outlining the parameters of the efficiency evaluation methods and non-parametric methods, and details the main analysis methods, namely, data envelopment analysis (DEA).Combining with the characteristics of economic development around the city in Henan, established the regional economic efficiency evaluation index system. Select the data envelopment analysis model for the two basic models C2R and BC2model, use DEAP2.1software to analysis and evaluate the area of economic efficiency of the18cities in Henan Province in2011detailed,including technical efficiency analysis and pure technical efficiency analysis, scale efficiency analysis, projection analysis, reference set analysis to identify invalid input redundancy and cities and outputs an insufficient amount. Also on the2006-2011trend efficiency values were analyzed. Finally, the empirical analysis based on the results of the empirical results were correlated statistical analysis of regional economic development in Henan found existing in four issues and problems put forward corresponding countermeasures.
