In the past few decades, intellectual capital, total quality management and reengineeringhave changed the mode of organizations’ operation fundamentally. Intellectual capital graduallytransformed applying capital to manufacture to applying knowledge to work, which expandedindividual intellect to the organizations’ intellectual capital.This study begins with the content of intellectual capital, analyzing the constituent factorsof intellectual capital, which are structural capital and human capital. Theoretical analysis startsfrom the growth theories. From the discussions we can conclude the mechanisms of howintellectual capital and its component parts affect enterprises’ growth ability. At the same time,using SPSS19.0, we also did some empirical researches of the machinery manufacturingindustry companies and electronics manufacturing industry, which can prove the conclusion ofthe theoretical analysis well. Based on what we get from the empirical research, the studycompares and analyses the difference of effect on manufacturing industry companies andelectronics manufacturing industry companies. Finally, the article gives some suggestions onhow to manage intellectual capital to improve the enterprises’ growth ability.
