Private economy is an important promoter of China’s deepening reform and opening up, and also a key strength to promote China’s steady economic growth, improve people’s livelihood and realize Chinese dream. After thirty five years of development, the private economy is gradually ajusted to economic growth in the new era and develop in the process of exploration.The power consumption of private economic in the can be seen prosperity as a segment of a whole, and the grid development can promote the rapid and healthy development of the private economy, where exists close and subtle connection. The internal relationship of power demand and the private economy is the foundation of correctly forecasting the demand for power. Therefore, it is very necessary to study the private power demand and the characteristics of the development of the private economy, make clear the inner relations between electric power demand and the development of the private economy, effectively forcast the future power demand of private economy, provide decision support for power system planning and operation management.First of all, the factors affecting the development of the private economy are systematicly carded. Then using the cointegration theory, the paper establishes the trend and fluctuation cointegration equation between power consumption and GDP of the private economy. In addition, this paper also establish power forecasting models for the power demand of private economy. Finally, the analysis process is made into a software.It further improves the electricity demand forecasting management and enhances the practicability of the theory of technology.The aim of correlation study for economic development and electricity demand is to reveal the internal driving factors and changing rules of the electricity demand; The accurately prediction of power demand is to grasp the long-term trend of the changing rules. This two methods that used to analyse the law of power demand for the private economy are useful supplement to the system of economy and electric power research, provide important reference basis for scientific and reasonable network planning and technical support for making more policy that in line with the characteristics of private economic development.
