2013people were attracted by gold investment for some remarkable changes in gold market. One is the sharp fall in gold price with shrinking gold investment, the other is the impressive consumer demand in Asia. Above all the most eye-absorbing event is the battle between Dama and Wall Streeter. The highlight of the battle caused general debate which shows a deeper problem of personal gold investment. In order to uncover and solve the problem I decide to make a investigation of resident gold investment.To collect the information about the current situation of gold investment and Dama event, I use many ways like questionnaire investigation, on-the-spot investigation, face to face communication and data collection. To analyse the information, I use comparison and statistical analysis. The result shows that the main problem of resident gold investment is the mismatch between the demand and the investment channels. The other problem is the bad investment climate and some unsuitable channels to personal investment. Finally, I make different advisements for different investment demands to help investors improve their experiences and also present some ideas and methods in perfecting and improving some gold investment channels.
