With the deepening of the financial sector reform and the deepening of the marketization,commercial banks are facing increasingly fierce competition. Financial product developmentand innovation lag, homogenization of serious banking operations, the difference is obviouslyinadequate. Listed commercial banks personalized business strategy resulting lack ofcompetition homogenization on some business vicious competitive situation, affecting theprofitability of individual bank risk control and financial sector, severely restricted the healthylong-term development of the banking sector. How do according to their own competitiveadvantage, develop their own differentiated business strategy, access to the survival anddevelopment has become an urgent problem for listed commercial banks, studyingdifferentiated business strategy in-depth has important theoretical and practical significance.At first,this paper introduces the research background of the whole text, research purposeand meaning; Then presents the theory of differences in banking operations of listedcommercial banks to provide a theoretical basis for further study of the text, includingdifferentiation strategy, strategies of differences in management for commercial banks and thetheory of financial innovation; Then, introduces the status quo of China’s banking operationsof listed commercial banks, including market positioning, product, mode of operation andmarketing of the situation as a basis, indicating that it currently operates there is a serioushomogenization problem, and analyze the motivation of the different operation issues of thelisted commercial bank; Again, analyze the impact of differences in management of listedcommercial banks on the competitiveness, use structural equation modeling for empiricalanalysis shows that the bank through different operations can improve their marketcompetitiveness; Finally, proposes strategies of differences in management for China’s bank,including positioning differentiation strategy, products differentiation strategy, servicesdifferentiation strategy, pricing differentiation strategy and brand differentiation businessstrategy.
