Transportation companies as an important component of the national economy, notonly have the duty to contribute to social and economic development, but alsohave the responsibility to improve the life quality of the employees and theirfamilies, local communities, the community. China’s transportation companies wantto survive in the fierce competition in the market, it is necessary to fulfill their socialresponsibility by establishing a good image in order to maintain good relations withthe government, communities and so on. However, it needs to pay the associatedcosts to undertake social responsibility, which will take ours’ attention to focus onthe relationship between social responsibility and financial performance oftransportation companies, especially in the perspective of stakeholders to see theinfluence of financial performance when companies fulfill the social responsibility.In this paper, drawing on related research we explore the influence of financialperformance when transportation companies fulfill social responsibility in theperspective of stakeholders.The paper is divided into six parts: First part is introduction, it describes theresearch background, research methods and research innovation; Second part is thereview of stakeholders, corporate social responsibility and financial performanceand their impact on financial performance; Int the third part, we describe howthe social responsibility impact the financial performance, and analyze thetransportation enterprise development and fulfillment of social responsibility, andwhen transportation enterprises fulfill their social responsibility, how it does impactthe current financial performance and later; In the fourth part,empirical analysis ofcorporate social responsibility impacting financial performance, proposedhypotheses, identify research samples, research methods, research model, etc., wealso have done descriptive analysis, correlation analysis and linear regressionanalysis; In the fifth part, we present the safeguards of fulfilling corporate socialresponsibility;In the sixth part, we conclude the paper and make some prospects. In transportation enterprise in our country, the research of this paper has shownthat performance of the current social responsibility and its current financialperformance was significantly negative relationship, on the other side, thatperformance of the current social responsibility and its financial performance laterwas significantly positive relationship, it means that transportation enterprises fulfillsocial responsibility impact on financial performance with hysteresis characteristics.Transportation enterprises fulfill social responsibility not only to reduce theenterprise’s financial performance, but also improve the financial performancein the future development, the implementation of corporate social responsibility willgradually become the a new path of improving enterprise financial performance.
