Fundamental changes are under way in the global economy. With the further reformand opening, especially, after CHINA won admission to the WTO, we have to say that ourcountry have achieved remarkable success in the area of investment.With a large number of foreign enterprises in China, amount of expats have beendeployed to work in the mainland of China. Typically, the foreign enterprises in Chinaemploy local staff, in order to facilitate the control of labor costs. In an enterprise, thepersonnel structure of different regions, different cultural background, causes the differentvalue concept, thinking modes, behaviors, so the culture conflict can hardly be avoided. Asurvey shows that: about82%of the global Multi-National Corporation failed because thecultural conflict, and about30%of the famous Multi-National Corporation now face thesituation of internal tensions because of the poor management and multi-cultural.This article discusses the factors of cultural conflict, via research and analysis thecultural conflict of Asahi float glass (Suzhou) Ltd.(AFS), so as to help enterprises to buildits own enterprise culture. Paying more attention to cultural differences is an importantthing. And then fully aware of the advantages of multinational enterprises, in order todealing with the cultural conflicts within the enterprise...
