Privatization is an important topic in economic theory and practical in today’s world.Privatization movement originated in the UK, and quickly spread to other developedcountries, developing countries and former socialist countries. It had a far-reachingimpact on the privatization of the country’s economy and politics, in the absence ofprivatisation of state, privatization can impact on people’s ideas. In our country,privatization has become an issue of concern. However, the privatization is not acomplete and clear understanding, the academic has not been deeply studied. In thispaper, the privatization of the most complete and the most influential British as theresearch object, the state-owned enterprise development, privatization, privatization ofthe basic connotation of the background, process, target, means and consequences of acomparative analysis of the system, combined with the reality in China, the state-ownedenterprises to private on the reform of state-owned enterprises in China reference.Besides the introduction and the conclusion is divided into four chapters, theintroduction part briefly introduces the development of privatization in the world, anddiscusses the basic meaning of privatization of the word, to clarify the incompleteunderstanding about privatization, gives a concrete definition on the specific content ofprivatization, established a basis for the following discussion, Chapter one the origin ofnationalization and privatization of the historical development, analyzes the history ofstate-owned enterprises process of historical development, status and role in the historyof Britain, as well as the disadvantages of internal exposure, based on the analysis of thebackground and reasons of the development of enterprise reform, privatization of thebackground and conditions and. The second chapter summarizes the main target and theimplement process of privatization of state-owned enterprises, the third chapterintroduces and analyzes the main measures of the reform of state-owned enterprises:1,the sale of state-owned enterprise ownership;2, the introduction of private capital andprivate contracting business;3, push for citizens to share ownership and employee stock ownership;4, to remain in the public sector in the state-owned enterprises to improvemanagement; the fourth chapter on the basis of the first three chapters, for thedevelopment of state-owned enterprises are elaborated, at the same time to state-ownedenterprise, analyzed the problems, impact on the privatization reform of Thatchergovernment are expounded from the aspects of politics, economy, social life, in addition,combined with the process of privatization of state-owned enterprises, the measures ofeffect. Discussion on some specific problems in the reform of state-owned enterprise,how to do well in the reform of the shareholding system in state-owned enterprises, theintroduction of competition mechanism of monopoly industries, the government to theenterprise limited management.
