With the development of the tourism industry, Xinjiang held a series of festivaltourism activities, then tourism festivals is the development by leaps and bounds.more and more areas began to organize festival tourism activities. the driving effectsof festival tourism hasbeen widely attention,and is becoming more and moreimportant in boosting economic development. Marketing strategy as somethingimportant with local development of tourism and local tourism industry. Xinjiang isthe region that is very rich in tourism resources. Throughout the festival tourismdevelopment in Xinjiang, many festival tourism activities in the country influentialand high-profile festivals rare.This article uses the literature method to collect related information,based onintroduce and describe its characteristics of the festival tourism resources inXinjiang.for example, starting from the current situation Winter Tourism IndustryExpo development and marketing environment, based on the Winter Tourism IndustryExpo tourism market survey,use of SWOT analysis on Winter Tourism IndustryExpo, on positioning and target market analysis, adopt a viable marketing strategy tosolve the current problems that exist in the festival’s tourism marketing.
