The Financial Industry Agglomerration Effects On Economic Growth In Anhui Provincea

The phenomenon of industrial agglomeration has a long history, the involved industry and regions of industrial agglomeration is also more and more broad. With the accelerated process of economic globalization, industrial agglomeration has gradually become the focus of many researchers. The theoretical view broadly agrees that industrial agglomeration is favorable to the growth of regional economics within a certain extent. This is because the industrial agglomeration can form a highly efficient production system, resulting in agglomeration economies and agglomeration diseconomies. As the financial industry plays an important role in the economic growth, the research on financial industry agglomeration also has an important significance. This paper is mainly to study the financial industry agglomeration effect on economic growth in Anhui Province.Based on the theory provided by the domestic and overseas scholars about industrial agglomeration as the framework, we use theoretical analysis and empirical research to look at and appraise union method. It gives the financial industrial agglomeration index and related description around the city of Anhui Province from the angle of quantitative analysis. At the same time, it analyzes the advantages and disadvantages on development of financial industry agglomeration considering the economic development situation of Anhui province itself. There is not much existing research about financial industry agglomeration in Anhui Province; this can be an innovation in this paper.This paper firstly reviews the existing literature on financial industry agglomeration and summarizes these research results. Secondly, according to the characteristics of the financial industry agglomeration, the analysis of it motivation are give, and the financial industry agglomeration effect are summarized. Then according to the situation of economic development in Anhui province, analyzes the present situation of the financial industry agglomeration in Anhui province and by referencing the location entropy index, financial conditions around the city in Anhui province are studied, it is concluded that the financial development in Anhui province every city there are obvious regional differences in conclusion. Finally, we study the financial industry agglomeration effects on economic growth in Anhui Province through the analysis of Variable coefficient fixed effects model of panel data model, and some relevant policies and suggestions are given.
