| At present, China is in critical transition from the steel big country to steel powerful country, while overcapacity in the steel industry is still increasing, on the other hand, demand growth is slowing down, and the steel industry is big but not strong. In this context, the iron and steel enterprises in transition of service-oriented manufacturing can fundamentally achieve "customer-center" transformation, achieve the jumping of business philosophy, management, operation methods, and dramatically enhance the performance of the services, promote all-round enterprise management level.Purpose of this study, is through describing service-oriented manufacturing connotation, background, evolution and its role, analyzing service-oriented transition of China’s steel industry motivation, critical success factors, experience of benchmarking enterprises, on this basis, the dissection focus is on the transition barriers and path selection for the transition of service-oriented manufacturing of Valin Steel.On the theory basis of production services, service-oriented manufacturing and value chain, we analyze the real situation from the perspective of the evolution of the global manufacturing industry and the development of China’s steel industry, then focus on the empirical analysis Valin Steel, using the methods of literature search, comparative analysis, induction and deduction, case study, thus provide valuable analysis and countermeasures for the barriers and paths of transformation of Valin Steel. |
