| As a pillar industry of China’s national economic development, the construction industry is critical to the improvement of infrastructure and the stability of national economy. And it has made great contribution to our country industrialization and urbanization. With the speeding of global economic integration, China’s construction enterprises will participate in the international and domestic market competition at broader space and in deeper level. Increasingly intense competition in the market and complex external environment, witch has put forward higher request to the level of enterprise management. Leaving no stone unturned to reduce cost and improving economic benefits of enterprise not only is the important content of modern enterprise management, also is the basis for achieving a competitive market advantage by reducing the cost price. Meanwhile to improve the economic benefits of the enterprise also is helpful for enterprises to cope with changing external macro environment and improve internal environment comprehensively, as so to form a virtuous cycle and promote the healthy and stable development of enterprises.However, At present due to the insufficient understanding of project cost controlã€the imperfect control system of enterprise project cost and the weak foundation of cost accounting, the cost control of China’s construction enterprise is also widespread lack of a clear plan and target and the content is one-sided. The problems exist, such as only paying attention to the construction process of cost control with the whole process cost management neglected, just focusing on the cost level with the cost effective level neglected, weighting savings and lighting claim, liability cost control becoming a mere formality and so on. So how to effectively carry out the project cost control of construction enterprise has become the urgent problem to be solved for enterprise. Combined with the present situation that the construction enterprise cost control is not perfect in our country, the author utilize method of observationã€investigationã€literature and empirical research combined with himself work experience to research on the present situation of cost control in China’s construction enterprise. The author puts forward the corresponding opinions and suggestions against the problem of enterprise cost control dominated by the theory of comprehensive cost control and responsibility cost control. In the end, with an instance of one group subsidiary company cost control, some experience provided for reference for construction enterprise to carry out control.This article first reviewed the domestic and foreign development of engineering project cost control theory, and a brief evaluation on the advantages and disadvantages of the various theory lays the theoretical basis for the following analysis. The second chapter is an overview of the construction project cost control, and this chapter expounds the related concepts of cost and cost control〠composition of engineering project cost and the principle of engineering project cost control. The third chapter demonstrates the present situation and problems of project cost control in China’s construction enterprises. The fourth chapter puts forward the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions together with the present situation of construction enterprise cost control. Fifth chapter with a group branch as an example, from the aspects such as staff trainingã€organizational structure of cost control and method of cost control theory analyzes the present situation of the cost control and experience, so as to provide experience for reference for enterprises to carry out cost control.
