Xinjiang is located in the western border of China, neighboring with Russia,Kazakhstan, Afghanistan and other eight countries. The famous "Silk Road" going throughthis land, with communication with Europe, Central Asia ’s geopolitical advantages, Xinjiangis of great importance economic and cultural crossroads between Chinese and Western, and isan important gateway to the Chinese openning economy for South Asian countries.Since "Western Development" project by2000, the socio-economic development ofXinjiang obtains the strong support of the central government and the mainland provinces.Especially from2010, a series of central work conference on Xinjiang, a package of policiesfor economic and social development in Xinjiang, such as the implementation of the tax,financial, industrial, etc., provides a more robust support for Xinjiang. At the same time,Xinjiang also vigorously promote social economic development of the region, attaches greatimportance to investment in construction and development, promote and supportinfrastructure investment, and attract the active participation of social capital. Undoubtedly,the Xinjiang capital expansion will usher in a golden opportunity.This study will draw on national income determination theory and economic operationcharacteristics of Xinjiang, With econometric analysis and other quantitative analysis methods,this study will analyze empirically the actual situation in Xinjiang ’s economic development toexplore how much investment, taxation, transfer payments and other major macroeconomicindicators’ changes will affect Xinjiang income, employment and welfare. to make somesuggestions forward-looking for economic and social development in Xinjiang.
