A Case Study On The Risk Management Of Offshore Oilfield Engineering Project

Offshore oilfield development project is a high-risk, high-investment, high-technologysystematic engineering. There are many uncertainty factors in the engineering project, if theserisk factors are not well managed, some of the major accident will happened. With thedevelopment of the offshore oil industry, all kinds of risks that we face are becoming moreand more complicated. In order to improve risk management level of offshore oilfield, preventand control the risk factors of the project, reduce loss of the project, enhance the anti riskability of oilfield enterprise, it has becoming more and more important to research the riskproblems in the oilfield development project.The thesis studies on the problems in risk management of oilfield development project,In this research，we mainly use the methods of the qualitative analysis, the systematic analysis,the quantitative analysis and other methods. And on the basis of basic theories of oilfielddevelopment, the project risk management, the project management, we recognized andvalued the risks that may happen in the offshore oilfield project. And we also analysis therisks in the LF7-2DPP oilfield development project, we proposed risk response plan and riskcontrol measures. Throughout these work, we had a full understanding of the risks in theproject.The achievement of the thesis is established the offshore oilfield development projectrisk management model and framework that provides a scientific decision basis for theoffshore oilfield development project, at the same time we also improved the study of the riskmanagement subject of engineering project.
