Study On Legal Issues Of Asset Securitization

This thesis introduces the new financial instrument, assetsecuritization, from a legal viewpoint, and then explores the legalrelationship, rights and obligations between the stakeholders involved inasset securitization, as well as possible legal risks in each step of assetsecuritization process, based on real-world case studies. As assetsecuritization activity calls for lot of legal efforts, this article alsosummarizes and analyzes the practices of legal workers in the assetsecuritization process. Finally, it concludes the deficiencies in today’sasset securitization in China and proposes potential improvement actionsfrom the author’s personal perspective.
