| During the era of knowledge economy, organizational development, application of knowledge, technological innovation and promotion of creativity are realized by human. To value human is the precondition of organizational development. In our country, the ultimate purpose of organizational management is not for profit, but employees’ self-fulfillment and free development. But the reality is that the organizational development in our country completely deviates from this purpose. And it finds expression in three aspects. First, managerial ideas are old-fashioned. Organizations tend to treat their employees with an idea of instrumentalism, failing to be human-oriented. Second, managerial system lags far behind, such as, defective managerial system, fossilized management and arbitrary intervention. Last but not least, organizations take the cultural buildup for granted. As a result, both employees and organizations share no prospects and they lack group cohesiveness.Management field has conducted a deep research to tackle these problems. The most prominent idea is human-oriented theory, which is developed and enriched under the background of Western capitalistic economy. Although the idea puts emphasis on human, it also has a strong sense of instrumentalism in terms of dealing with employees. Therefore, it is unable to fulfill the human-oriented idea, and much harder to realize this country’s ultimate purpose in organizational management—employees’ self-fulfillment and free development. Leisure idea is based on traditional Chinese culture and national ideology. The purpose of Leisure idea is to provide a basis for a leisure working environment, allow them to work freely and self-consciously and most importantly, to create happiness, harmony, and finally, the enjoyment and free development for employees. Actually, Leisure idea has enlightening significance for our country’s organizational development, not only because it values employees’ experience of ’being true human’, but because it creates leisure working environment. Consequently, it is designed to create harmonious organizational leisure culture and materialize free development of employees. |
