This paper is divided into five chapters; the specific structure is as follows:Chapter 1 Introduction. Use the research background, significance and other aspects to elaborate the structure of the appearance.Chapter 2 Measure Theory and Methods insurance agency efficiency. This chapter will explore the efficiency theoretical framework, and then use nonparametric and semi parametric additive model to describe the theoretical knowledge.Chapter 3 Empirical Analysis of China’s life insurance industry efficiency-based on non-parametric methods. First, this paper elaborates the sample selection criteria, data sources, selection and calculation methods and other indicators of the content; then, analyze and compare the efficiency of those categories like the whole life insurance industry, the big, Medium, small and foreign life insurance company.Chapter 4 The efficiency of China’s life insurance industry based on semi-parametric method of influencing factors. Because the non-parametric method estimates cannot find the factor that influence efficiency of decision making units, so this section will use the semi-parametric model to find the four types of life insurance companies’ factors.Chapter 5 Summary and recommendations. To optimize efficiency indicators, in the establishment of the DEA model, using an underwriting profit as output indicators model. b, innovative research methodology. This paper introduces a semi-parametric model can be applied as a research method using SAS software estimation and analysis of the factors affecting our operating efficiency of the life insurance industry.
