The Study On Performance Evaluation And Value Management Approaches Of The Extractive Industries Listed Companies In China

Business performance evaluation has been one of the challenging problems facing theoretical and practical field of accounting. It remains to be resolved how business performance can be assessed in an authentic and reasonable way, how business value and creative capacity of value can be evaluated in an accurate and effective way, and how to match the salary of managers with his performance. Besides, what needs to be addressed is how to reduce the cost of agency and maximize the business value.Extractive industry which contains the fields of coal, petroleum, black metal, no n-ferrous metal, non-metallic mines and so on now becomes the basic industry of the whole national economy. However, it’s faced with the situation that is to strive for t he enterprise’s value maximum under the double pressure between the increasingly sev ere competitive environment and the gradually reduced resources. Presently, insufficien t attention is given to the research on mining performance assessment system and val ue-based management system. Therefore, the studies on performance assessment syste m and value-based management system will contribute to the theoretical development and practical application on this front.The article focuses on the research period between 2010 and 2013, and it focus es on the research object of mining industry public corporations. On the basis of liter ature reviews and summaries, it summarizes historical changes of performance evaluati on in these mining industry public corporations, and it does some comparative studies of performance evaluation in mining industry. The article responds the relevance and difference on business performance of mining industry by using the method of perfor mance evaluation in comprehensive comparison test and EVA, it validates the obvious advantages in using of EVA to evaluate the performance of mining industry during t he four years, and interpretation of the value of mining corporations. The article exp lores the main factors to influence the EVA in mining industry, it put forward the co ncrete countermeasures and methods to improve mining value management, value asse ssment and value creation respectively, through the construction of EVA value drive m odel and EVA value management framework model in mining industry.
