With the rapid development of the modern market economy, the competition between the enterprises has in talent competition. How to occupy the market and to further expand the market, closely related to the marketing personnel. Enterprise marketing personnel’s performance significantly impact on the production and development of a company, especially for some education training companies, How to hire and train for the company’s business development and help the company target to reach are very important. While the telephone sales personnel is the key which restrict the development of the company. Because the education and training companies in small and medium-sized enterprises accounted for more than 80% of the total number of education training companies. These small and medium-sized education training marketing staff in the company’s total number of employees accounted for more than 80% of the total employees, While a lot of factors affect the performance of marketing staff, but the relationship with the marketing staff personality itself closely.In this paper, firstly it concludes the association between personality traits and job performances in the study of theoretical study in recent years at home and abroad, It got a brief overview of progress on personality traits and job performances from domestic and foreign researches. And then it utilized the classical theory of personality research model, We approach the classical theory of personality research model, The big five personality theory, nine personality theory, such as monitoring scale and questionnaire design and combine with unit A of electric pin employers’ personality characteristics and their work performance of employees. Finely we study the personality characteristics and investigation of unit A’s electricity sales staff, by interviewing and evaluating job performance and analyze the management problems of electricity sales staff about the work performance. In order to resolve the problems, we focus on personality theory and performance theory to specifically analyze the reasons. It is concluded the connect of personality theory and performance theory and we also found the elements that significantly affect the employees and their personality characteristics. We analyze the theory of the relationship between personality traits and job performances are studied and mainly study on the relationship between the electricity sales personnel performance and personality. Finally it proposed the general regularity of improving the electric pin staff task performances At the same time the improvement measures and solutions are put forward, which could help unit A in the future recruitment. According to the results of unit A selecting talents, in the future, it could reduce the staff personality reason phenomenon of inconsistent and job requirements. It could provide the reference for unit A in the future recruitment and personnel daily performance management.
