Rich in natural resources in Africa attracts the attention of the global mining industry investment.China’s mining companies began to make direct investment in Africa in the 1980 s, after 10 years of groping stage, China’s mining companies to invest in Africa since 2000, the rapid increase.In 2011, China’s mining companies to invest directly in Africa the number up to 114, from 2004 up nearly 22 times.By the ministry of commerce the list of foreign investment enterprises(institutions) as the data source, in a large number of literature on the basis of collecting relevant data, first overview of China’s mining companies to invest in Africa to comb;Secondly, from the perspective of investment in the host country institutional environment and corporate ownership, the system analyzes the Chinese mining companies direct investment in Africa, summarizes the different investment subject and field layout characteristics of the direct investment location in Africa.Through this research helps to comprehensive and in-depth understanding of China’s mining companies direct investment activities in Africa, as well as for planning in the future investment in Africa’s mining companies provide information has reference value.Through study the Chinese mining companies direct investment in Africa’s path is a set of comprehensive system, which contains a variety of factors, these factors based on the motives of the Chinese nation, industry and enterprise level, interact with each other, mutual influence, led to the current our country mining industry investment in Africa.In nearly a decade, China’s mining companies to invest directly in Africa showed a trend of increasing year by year, according to China’s mining companies the evolution history of direct investment destination countries in Africa, China in mining investment choice for the existence space spread from South Africa to the north, carried out from the coast to inland.However, China’s mining companies direct investment in Africa often ignore the host country institutional environment, value diplomatic relations with the host country and host country resources endowment, the resulting on the choice of investment destination countries has certain blindness, the enterprise benefit maximization, achieve expected investment.By studying the influence factors on the state-owned enterprises and private enterprises investment differences found in Africa, state-owned enterprises than the private sector are more likely to invest in the institutional environment better state, and most of the foreign existing research all think that China’s state-owned enterprises due to the system superiority, are more likely to invest in the institutional environment of poor areas.Resource abundance is higher and better infrastructure area the easier it is to attract OFDI, state-owned enterprises than private enterprises are more likely to invest resources abundance and infrastructure in good state.
