Research On Interactive Development Between Equipment Manufacturing Industry And Producer Services In Liaoning

As the pillar industry of the industrial development in Liaoning province, equipment manufacturing industry with good technical strength and resource advantages, is very important to economic development of Liaoning province. Compared with other advanced provinces in China, the industrial development in Liaoning started earlier but develops very slowly, the reason is that the development of producer services lagged behind. What producer services have provided to equipment manufacturing industry still stay in primary level such as logistics, finance, or accounting. Equipment manufacturing industry has been in the low end of value chain, which is low value-added and low technology level. However, the development of high-end equipment manufacturing industry has higher requirements to the services provided by producer services. Therefore, what we have to solve is how to start from the producer services to promote the coordinated development of equipment manufacturing industry and producer services.This paper is divided into seven parts. The first part is an introduction, including research background and significance, literature review, research methods, innovation points and deficiencies of this paper. The second part is about the conceptions, classification and characteristics related to equipment manufacturing industry and producer services, as well as the theories used in this paper. The third part is the analysis about current situation and existing problems of the development of equipment manufacturing industry and producer services in Liaoning. The forth part is empirical research, use unit root test and testing for cointegration, based on the data from 1999 to 2012, to analyze the relationship between equipment manufacturing industry and producer services in Liaoning. The fifth part is to analyze interactive mechanism between producer services and automobile industry, based on the value chain. The sixth part is to analyze successful development experience at home and abroad and then summarize the inspiration for the development of Liaoning province. The last part is to put forward to feasible suggestions to promote interactive development between producer services and equipment manufacturing industry in Liaoning, combined with the above analysis.
