| Xiaomi company (Beijing xiaomi technology limited liability company) was founded in 2010, since its inception won the favor of the venture capital firm, after nearly 5 years of development, the xiaomi company has won 5 rounds of financing, xiaomi company currently valued at ＄ 45 billion, became one of the most influential Internet companies in China. Along with the development and growth of xiaomi company, manner in which venture capital exits in order to realize their maximum profits as venture capital organizations are most concerned about the issue.This paper is divided into four parts:the first part introduces venture capital exit mechanism for venture capital and related theories. the second part discusses the basic situation of xiaomi company, through the xiaomi company development situation and exit timing analysis, the present stage is the best time for xiaomi company venture capital exit. The third part introduces the initial public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, corporate repurchase and liquidation exit ways, and through the exit costs, exit benefits, exit criteria and four aspects of the impact of enterprise risk comparison on the pros and cons of different ways of exit are analyzed, and the present situation of the exit mechanism of different countries are analyzed.
