In recent years, China’s economic has been developing rapidly, what is along with it is the massive consumption of energy and infringement on people’s health and safety, in order to reduce energy consumption and protect people’s lives and safety, environmental protection, energy saving and emission reduction, improving people’s living conditions and other problems need to be solved. As the country’s emphasis on the application of building energy-saving and environment-friendly products, our country promotes the use of bridge-cutoff aluminum alloy doors and windows, and other energy-efficient doors and windows, some local cities and provinces have issued a series of regulations that force the use of energy-saving doors and windows. Insulating glass is an important part of energy-saving doors and windows, On the one hand, Insulating glass has good insulation properties, can effectively reduce indoor and outdoor heat exchange, in line with the demands of national requirements on energy conservation and emission reduction, on the other hand, it also has the advantage of high sound insulation and with elegant appearance, along with the large quantity operational of energy-efficient doors and windows, the market demands for insulating glass will be greatly increased.Insulating glass is one of three main products of Shandong SM Company, due to the greatly increasing market demands for it, coupled with company’s share in local insulating glass market has reached15%, but company’s production scale is not big enough, which has hinder the development of the company, so the company’s leaders decided to construct a new branch factory in Jinan Lingang Economic Development Zone, this paper’s main work is on the feasibility analysis of this construction project. This paper consists of seven chapters, Chapter One is an introduction, mainly focuses on the background and significance, the development status of insulating glass industries, contents and frame of this study as well as the innovations and shortcomings; Chapter Two focuses on the reviews of the basic theories and methods of project feasibility analysis; Chapter Three is the necessity of the construction project and SWOT analysis; Chapter Four is technical feasibility study for the construction of the project; Chapter Five is about the financial analysis; Chapter Six is uncertainty factors and risk analysis, the last chapter is conclusions and outlook for further research.Through technical analysis, we believe that the project has technical advantages in insulating glass production; natural environment and supporting infrastructure are also meet the required of the project, so the technically feasible passes. About the financial analysis, the total investment of the project construction is about6.1661million Yuan, annual output of insulating glass is expected to310,000m2, according to current products’market price and raw materials’price, estimates the annual sales income is35.90million Yuan and annual total production cost is about28.7460million Yuan, and based on this to estimate the value added tax, income tax and other taxes, the annual taxes is about3.64million Yuan, finally we find that this project’s annual net profit is about3.5099million Yuan, the net profit ratio of investment is about56.27%, so it has past the financial feasibility analysis. Of course, during the construction of the project will present a variety of uncertainties factors and risks, through the break-even analysis and sensitivity analysis, the profitability of the project is very strong. Through the risk analysis, we found that the key risks is market and funding risk, so avoiding advice are also presented in this paper.
