Our country is a large agricultural country, but also an agricultural products consumer. Consumption of vegetable products occupies a certain proportion of residents in personal consumption; they are necessities and occupy a very important position in the national economy. Forecasting demand for vegetable production and early warning supply and demand has huge significance in stabilize consumption and residents.In recent years, many scholars in the demand forecast raised a lot of innovative and practical significance of the methods. But in the study of vegetable demand forecasting problems, There are many and complex actors which affect the demand of vegetable products and, they are a highly non-linear relationship. And traditional forecasting methods are generally simple mathematical model to predict the vegetable demand, so prediction accuracy is relatively low. The complex non-vegetable demand forecast linear problem has become a focus of the study.In order to improve the prediction accuracy of vegetable demand, this paper proposed a vegetable demand forecasting model based on support vector machine. Additionally, this article with full consideration of vegetable supply and demand dynamically changes with the weather conditions, holidays and other factors affecting. These factors included in forecast demand for vegetable products, using fuzzy theory to fuzzy processing; on the basis of this, proposed to predict demand model for vegetable products based on support vector machine. Practical example verified the accuracy of the prediction model presented in this paper. Based on this model, this paper constructed the supply and demand of vegetable demand forecasting system, which realized the function of data collecting and processing, demand forecasting, fluctuations early warning and related information display and so on. The system innovate the process of vegetable consumer-related information collection, publishing, and early warning. It is an important practical significance for supply and demand of vegetable managed.
