Intermediary business of commercial bank rise to financial liberalizationand a wave of financial innovation of the1970s. With the development offinancial markets, information technology, finance theory. Financial competitiveincreasingly intense, commercial banks continue to speed up the innovation ofproduct, service and technological, enhance the comprehensive servicecapabilities. The change of internal and external of business environment incommercial banks promote the development of other emerging businesses andthe diversification of sources of profits. In recent years, financial globalization,economic integration, market-based interest accelerating, innovation ofintermediary business has become an important development strategy. As themost important new profit growth point of commercial banks, the innovation ofintermediary business are increasingly being valued by the domestic bankingsector, which not only helps to improve the profitability of commercial banks inChina, optimizing resource allocation, but also helping to spread the businessrisk, improve competitiveness.This article mainly studies the influence of the degree of innovationamong bank intermediary business products to the bank performance. With thetheme of this study, this paper first reviewed and commented the theory ofinnovation of intermediate products, on the basis of previous studies, this paperclassified and summarized the degree of innovation of intermediary business.Study on the14listed commercial banks, selected data from the annual report ofdomestic listed companies and various bank site of2007-2013, on performancesample cases were factors analys is, obtain five public factors, and then conducteda study of degree of innovation associated with the bank’s performance, and finally draw the relevant conclusions and recommendations. Conclus ions are asfollows: with the increase of degree of innovative strength of bank intermediarybusiness products, performance levels were also significantly increased; with theincreases of degree of innovation of competitor, performance levels will decline,but the decline was not significant; with the degree of the first innovationbehavior of intermediate products business increased, will also significantlyincrease performance; with the increases of degree of the product innovationintermediary business capital investment, performance levels will decline, but thedecrease was not significant; China’s commercial banks have more highlyeducated personnel, will also significantly increase the performance ofcommercial banks.
