Port Logistics Development Index Evaluation And Countermeasures In China

With the rise and development of modern logistics industry,port logisticsis as an important part of modern logistics,has become an important pillar of the national economy.The development of economic globalization,international trade,the idea and practice of modern logistics will make the port to abandon the previous single transit node position and turn to the integrated logistics center set of trans-portation,financial,industry and trade,information and multimodal transport.Port logistics is a new type of port to meet the needs of the development of modern logistics gradually formed.The port logistics evaluation is the need of the development of market economy in China as well as the inevitably request to change the world shipping structure and port service function.Therefore,how to evaluate the port logistics development level scientifically and reasonably is an important part to promote port logistics service efficiency and it has become an important pro-blem to be solved.This paper analyses the formation,development,characteristics,function of port logistics and the development trend in the future.Combined with the methods of port logistics index evaluation,it discusses the effects of the three aspects includi-ng port logistics infrastructure, port logistics capability and the economy level of the port.further subdivision tocontainer capacity,total number of berths,port cargo throughput,foreign trade cargo throughput,cargo turnover,the port hinterland economy,foreign trade import and export volume of twenty-three evaluation index.Following the establishment of evaluation index system of port logisticsprinciple,using the method of correlation analysis and principal component analysis,constructed a relatively complete system of comprehensive evaluation of port logistics index.Through the principal component scores of each index,the quantitative development level of port logistics of all that out,obtained the advantages and disadvantages of port logistics development. The evaluation results and the actual development of several ports are in agreement,putimg forward to strengthen the construction of port facilities,the foundation to expand theport information construction,service function of port logistics to improve the measures and approaches of the port logistics performance, and provides a theoretical basis for the further development of the port logistics in our country and the rectication.
