Since the1990s, China’s home appliance industry landscape has changeddramatically. Influenced by national economic policy and foreign policy, more andmore domestic and foreign manufacturers began to enter the home appliancemanufacturing industry. The contradiction of oversupply is more prominent. In abuyer’s market, the market relationship between manufacturers and retailers of homeappliances has undergone a fundamental shift and the value of sales channels hasbeen further highlighted. In China, there has been with Gome and Suning,represented by the large home appliance chain enterprises, providing moreaffordable prices by means of chain operations to the consumer, but also a wealth ofbrand choice and more professional service, which occupies a pivotal position inChina’s home appliance retail market.In recent years, the homogeneity home appliances has been more severe,due tothe lack of price advantage, home appliance chain enterprises must providedifferentiated services to consumers, to re-establish their competitive advantage.Thehome appliance chain logistics services is important for consumers to provide adoor to door on-demand and on-time delivery service, it plays a crucial role as thecloset part of the end-user companies. Meanwhile, as China’s home appliance retailoperating costs have continued to rise, the home appliance industry’s profits hasbeen continuously diluted. With the increasing pressure of cost control, thethird-party source of profit logistics has become an important breakthrough tohome appliance chain enterprises. In the home appliance retail chain logistics anddistribution terminal, the vehicle routing problem (Vehicle Routing Problem, VRP)is a very critical issue.VRP is the famous NP problem in the area of operational research andcombinatorial optimization. Since the issue was raised, many scholars have done alot of different areas and in-depth research, and made quite a lot in terms of VRP model and related algorithms research results. Logistics vehicle delivery route isreasonable will directly affect the speed of logistics, costs and benefits, reasonablearrangements for vehicle scheduling and delivery route planning logistics forcompanies to save costs, improve the degree of on-time delivery plays a veryimportant role.Based on domestic and international literature of logistics and vehiclerouting problem, combined with the characteristics of terminallogistics anddistribution of home appliance retail chain, improve the capacity constraintsVRPmodel, proposed three-phase heuristic algorithm based on the idea of groupingfirst and then path, through distribution zoning, capacity allocation and deliveryroutes constructed in three stages to solve. Finally, compare the results ofnearestneighbor method, saving mileage method and three-stage heuristic algorithmbased on the case of a large home appliance chain enterprises, proposetheeffectiveness of the algorithmin this article.
