This paper was done with goal in mind of showing how the growth of and immerging power in the east China and how they are having an massive impact on the world and more specific to the paper Caricom and Caricom nations. Through this paper insight can be gain as to the scale of investment that China has given and the to what extent it has been had an impact on the Caricom nations; the paper look at various areas and somewhat unknown knowledge as to what is happening as China continues to grow and stretch their influence across the globe and help other developing countries.Because of this greater push from China into Caricom we have to look at what and how Caricom nations have benefited financially and structurally by analyzing old material and compiling it with new information to get a better scope of the impact and the benefits that the countries have derived from China and the deepening ties the two countries have and how much stronger it will become and as a result Caricom can formulate its own resources at its disposal, to attract more FDIs from China.The first thing that is done in this paper to give an overview as to how FDI can have and has had an impact on developing nation and how it has help to propel them these nations development by creating new business and has given rise to the exchange the of ideas and the creation of new ideas and understanding why FDI’s are empirical to the growth of nations economy. The theory/theories of FDI that will be applied to show how FDI go about to pick the best country to invest in and what make the best and how can the host country derive the most out of an FDI entering the country.The focus of this paper will be on Caricom but more specific two members of Caricom Jamaica and The Bahamas to ascertain the overall Impact that FDI from China has had on the countries if any and the way it can or will affect the country’s economic, labour, infrastructure, education and how can they learn for this to attracted more FDI form other countries.
