We can see the explosive development of the internet when entry the 21 st century.The Internet data center(ie IDC),as the carrier of Internet information dissemination and application,the importance and status are also increasing.IDC operations gradually come out from the behind.I think the development of IDC business has gone through three stages: IDC1.0 stage I think it is selling resources stage, at this stage each IDC ISP emphasis on basic environmental construction and facility construction,and hosting, bandwidth, space rental, etc. traditional resource-based business-oriented rental; IDC2.0 stage is to sell the service stage, IDC is now the industry is undergoing a phase, which each IDC service providers are looking for ways of trying to reduce the cost of construction and operation of IDC, pay attention to environmental protection, energy saving to content distribution services, content download acceleration and other value-added services as the main selling point, the ability of independent service providers at this stage IDC has begun to expand the field of cloud computing, which is the third stage, IDC3.0, first three phases is the ability to sell the stage, each IDC ISP using advanced cloud computing, big data technologies, reduce equipment investment costs, improve equipment utilization, while containerized modular technology, by focusing on power, cooling scheme reduces overall cost. In order to better transition to IDC3.0 stage, IDC service provider focused development strategy at this stage there are three points: 1, energy saving, environmental protection and other concepts to improve service value; 2, value-added services to improve network optimization capabilities; 3 concern to provide differentiated services to meet the needs of key target markets. Since the current phase is to sell services, then the object it must be considered from the service, from a user perspective IDC, IDC evaluate the overall quality of the service provider’s service, and provide increased IDC ISP service level views.In this paper, a visit during the study a number of domestic carriers IDC senior management, with a number of industrial customers such as finance, commerce chain,manufacturing, Internet companies, such as an interactive exchange, and reference a lot of academic reports, the official website, news reports and analyze the content ofthird-party organization to understand China’s macroeconomic policy, regulatory policy and information technology industry trends.
