Interest rate marketization reform is the official relax restrictions on interest rates, interest rates gradually become market-oriented operation process. In the past few decades, many countries have successively realized the marketization of interest rate, for the development of economy has created more free, fair and efficient environment.In recent years, with the accelerating process of interest rate marketization reform in our country and nearing completion. However, from the point of history and the reality in our country, interest rate marketization to the survival and development of small and medium-sized commercial Banks formed the severe challenge.Small and medium-sized commercial Banks is an important part of our country’s banking system, mainly includes the joint-stock commercial Banks, city commercial Banks and rural cooperative Banks. It is mainly based on the provide service for local economic development and small and medium-sized enterprises. But on the overall strength, relative to the large state-owned commercial Banks is still at a disadvantage. According to the experience of the countries shows that, due to the small and medium-sized commercial Banks themselves lack of scale effect, and no perfect social law do protection, making it the most impact to market-oriented interest rate reform. First of all, the interest rate marketization has weakened the ability of small and medium-sized commercial Banks rely on traditional channels for profit, increase the management risk.Second, the interest rate marketization intensifies the competition between the banking sector, compressing the small and medium-sized business for bank survival space, faces the threat of bankruptcy merger increases greatly.Again, the interest rate marketization has prompted Banks’ capital structure changes, exacerbating the bank deposits distributary, increase the Banks’ funding costs.Finally, the marketization of interest rate increased the pricing difficulty of small and medium-sized commercial Banks, increased the interest rate risk.Marketization of interest rate in a challenge to the development of small and medium-sized commercial Banks as well as the sustainable business providing opportunities for: first of all, the marketization of interest rate is conducive to really ensure autonomy in operation of small and medium-sized commercial Banks, to be able to use their own strong local and improve credit quality cost advantages, expand the profit space.Second, the interest rate marketization promotes the small and medium-sized commercial Banks for financial innovation actively, reduce the bank to rely too much on traditional lending business, improve the Banks’ capital allocation efficiency, the diversified development of creativity in the condition of bank.Therefore, marketization of interest rate for small and medium-sized commercial Banks risk means both at the same time also brought opportunities.To carry out the marketization of interest rate under the influence and strategy research of small and medium-sized commercial Banks, to reduce the blindness of small and medium-sized commercial Banks, from theory to the development of small and medium-sized commercial Banks to make scientific guidance, make its can under the condition of interest rate marketization, clear market positioning, business management pattern, at the same time, strengthen the internal management mechanism reform, perfect risk management system, to achieve long-term stable development is of great significance.This is the duty of financial researchers.This thesis review the interest rate marketization process in China, the system analyzes the universality of interest rate marketization of our country small and medium-sized commercial Banks.Some small and medium-sized commercial Banks- A bank then the SWOT qualitative analysis, quantitative analysis and AHP analytic hierarchy process(AHP), points out that the bank’s interest rate marketization under the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats, and on the basis of further analysis of the effective measures to deal with A bank interest rate marketization. Finally, this article on the basis of general analysis and case analysis, put forward the small and medium-sized commercial Banks should use its geographic advantage to accurate market positioning, to strengthen the quality of service, strengthen the risk management, and by deepening internal reform, the way such as joint restructuring scale effectively cope with, realize the sustainable management of small and medium-sized commercial Banks.
